Whale Bay beach tree What a relaxing place! This image brings back so many wonderful memories for me, as most of my images do. I have memories of playing on this beautiful beach with my one year old son and wonderful wife. I remember drawing a big circle in the sand and running around in circles with my son while my wife watched us laughing and soaking in the splendid views of the brilliant blue water and the rolling hills on the coastline in the distance. This would make a great addition to a space where you want to invoke the serenity of this beautiful location.
North Island beach tree The North Island coast lines are amazing! I found this tree as we made our way up the east coast towards Cape Reinga! When I see this image it makes me remember the warm and brilliance of what was around me, the wonderful north island coastline!
Rocky Mountain Nat' Park This is a view of the valley in Rock Mountain Nat’ park. Below you can see down towards Estes Park, a great town with tons of character. While looking out you can take a deep breath and immerse yourself in the seemingly never ending splendor that is before you.
Redwoods of Jedediah Smith What a truly remarkable place. I have visited there a few times and each time is always an amazing adventure. You are greeted with a view that you could not believe could get any better at every turn on the trails. After you go around the corner, there is even more!
Cali colorThe unique Mount Tamalpais overlooking San Francisco bay. You can sit and watch the fog roll in over the mountains and into the bay. Watching the sun set and our children playing in the warm soft light on the top of the mountain overlooking the golden clouds is one of my greatest memories!
Mount Tamalpais State Park What a view! This is the view I wrote about in the flowers description. You can see San Fransisco bay in the distance with the fog rolling in over the mountains.
Mount Lassen, CA This place is breathtaking. Beautiful alpine lakes on top of the mountain offer wonderful camping and hiking with views that meet the horizon! This image in particular came from after we had just hiked Kings Creek canyon just a few miles up the road. I stopped after seeing this amazing field and had to capture this moment.
North Island boatAs we traveled up the eastern coast of the North Island towards Cape Reinga exploring the endless bays, we came across this very calm bay with a sailboat moored out in the bay. I imagined having that sailboat and being able to sail into all of these wonderful bays and getting to even more of the amazing beaches.
North Island lightraysThe north island in the winter! What a winter to see. Every day had showers or mist come through, but it was only in the mid 60s. The rains didn’t last long and were quickly gone. Often there wouldn’t be any real rain only mist. Because of this there were countless rainbows everywhere you went, everyday. The north Island New Zealand in the winter, what a truly awesome place!
